Greensburg hosted the annual Decatur County cross-country meet on Thursday evening.
The boys took the first six spots in the race. Hunter Butz won the county championship for the second year in a row. He ran a season best time of 18:01. Kole Stephens lowered his personal best to 19:02 coming in 2nd overall.
Andrew Johnson ran his best race of the year to take 3rd place in 19:23. Eric Million was 4th place in 19:46. Sawyer Sanders broke 20:00 for the first time. He crossed the finish line in 19:54 for 5th place. Jonathon Ralston also ran his fastest time of the season. Ralston placed 6th in 20:01. Senior Dylan Brown was all-county for the second year in a row. He took 8th in 21:10.
Caden Workman used a strong finish to place 11th in 21:43. Senior Bryan Bockover came in 13th in 22:57. Jaxson Kramer was 14th in 22:58 with Sean Slagle next in 22:59. Alex Henderson had a time of 23:31 for 16th. Other Pirate finishers included Josh Schneider 21st, Blaine Schroeder 22nd, Chris Berkemeier 25th, Dylan Gauck 27th, and Jeremiah Cohee 30th.
