The Lady Pirates opened their season with a strong second-place finish at the Greensburg Invitational. Their team score of 336 was only three shots behind that of 19th ranked Richmond. Claire Dennett led the way for the Pirates with a 78, which was good for 3rd individually. Also medaling for Greensburg were Ellie Acra, 83, and Kennedy McCullough, 86, whose rounds earned them 7th and 10th place respectively. Also competing for the Pirates were Rachel Nobbe, 89, Maddy Wickens, 90, and Regan Swango, 103. This marks a tremendous start to the season by the Lady Pirates as they improved upon their score from last season by a remarkable 36 strokes. The ladies will take to the links this Thursday as they play host to Triton Central at Greensburg Country Club.
